A little home from home, where little adventures lead to big discoveries!
Welcome to Little Explorers Childminding Adventure, a warm, welcoming and nurturing home-from-home setting in March, Cambridgeshire.
I believe childhood should be filled with happiness, curiosity, exploration and opportunities to learn through play. My aim is to provide a safe, caring environment where every child feels loved, valued and secure, giving them the confidence to explore the world around them at their own pace.
Every child is unique, and I want each little explorer to feel special. I will encourage children to develop their independence, confidence, communication and social skills through fun, age-appropriate activities, creative play, stories, music, sensory experiences and outdoor adventures.
I love the idea of children learning from the world around them, so our days will include opportunities to explore nature, enjoy fresh air, discover new experiences and make wonderful little memories.
Building positive relationships with families is also incredibly important to me. I want parents to feel comfortable, listened to and confident that their child is receiving individual care and attention. Open communication and working together help us provide the best possible support for each child’s development and wellbeing.
At Little Explorers, I want children to feel that they belong, that their ideas matter and that they can be themselves. Whether we’re getting creative, enjoying a story, exploring outdoors or discovering something new, there will always be opportunities to learn, laugh and grow.
My Experience
I have a varied background working with children across preschool settings, infant schools, junior schools and senior schools. These experiences have given me a good understanding of children’s different ages, stages of development, learning styles and individual needs.
I specialise in supporting children and adults with autism and understand the importance of patience, empathy, consistency and adapting my approach to suit each individual. I recognise that every child is unique, and I am passionate about creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, understood, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
I am passionate about helping children build confidence, develop independence, learn through play and enjoy new experiences. I also value building positive relationships with parents and working together to ensure every child receives the care, encouragement and support they need to thrive.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include Teaching Assistant Level 2 and Level 3, a Diploma in Preschool Practice, a degree in Psychology and First Aid training. These have helped develop my knowledge of child development, learning, behaviour and the importance of supporting children’s emotional wellbeing alongside their educational progress.
My Availability
I offer childcare Monday to Friday, all year round. This includes school term time, half terms and school holidays, providing families with consistent and reliable childcare throughout the year.
I aim to support working parents by offering a flexible, welcoming home-from-home environment where children can feel safe, happy and supported. Please get in touch to discuss your childcare requirements, preferred days and availability.
Funded and privately paid childcare places will be offered subject to registration, funding approval where applicable, and availability.
