We are first-time parents-to-be living in Cambridge City Centre (CB1/CB2 area). We are expecting our first baby around late January. Non-smoking home, no pets. We are looking for an experienced and caring Maternity Nurse / Night Nanny to support us through the fourth trimester in a welcoming, calm home environment.
My Requirements
We are looking for a Maternity Nurse / Night Nanny for a combined schedule across 5–6 weeks:
• Phase 1 (Weeks 1–2): 24-hour Live-in Maternity Nurse for the initial 2 weeks (e.g. 5 days/week) to assist with recovery, breastfeeding/bottle feeding, newborn routines, and hands-on guidance. Private guest room provided.
• Phase 2 (Weeks 3–6): Transitioning to Night Nanny / night cover (approx. 9pm/10pm – 7am), around 2–3 nights per week to ensure safe night-time care and sleep for parents.
• Ideal Candidate: Valid Enhanced DBS, up-to-date Paediatric First Aid, relevant newborn qualifications (e.g. OCN Level 3/4+), and verifiable references from previous families.
• Location & Travel: Based in central Cambridge. We welcome candidates from surrounding areas (e.g. Ely, Royston, Saffron Walden, Huntingdon, South Cambs) and can assist with parking/travel expenses. Competitive rates offered.
