About Me
I have lots of experience and been babysitting for 3 years, I also had the privilege of looking after a young adult with Down syndrome for 2 years which has given me lots of responsibility and confidence communicating with a wide variety of people. I’m friendly, fun and sociable student studying Graphic Design and Communication at the University of Leeds, meaning I'm creative and always happy to come up with fun activities to do when babysitting. I’m a very chatty, approachable and easy to talk to 18 year old.
My timetable is fairly flexible, so I’m available for a few hours of babysitting during the day as well as evenings and weekends. I’m happy to provide either occasional or more regular babysitting depending on what works best for your family.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for two years for families in the area where I previously lived, looking after children independently. I also completed a week of work experience at St Nicholas Primary School in Harpenden, working with and supporting children in a classroom environment. I have additional-needs experience from providing weekly one-to-one companionship and support to a young adult with Down syndrome, as well as regularly looking after a family friend with significant learning and developmental difficulties and a speech and language disorder. This has given me experience adapting how I communicate and interact depending on the individual’s needs.
My Qualifications
I have an Enhanced DBS check and a full UK driving licence, which I have held since October 2025, and I also have access to my own car. I have completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, which involved volunteering at a nursery where I organised weekly arts and crafts activities for the children.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.75 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £11.75 per hour. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on the hours required, number of children and any additional responsibilities. Overnight babysitting can also be discussed depending on the timings and requirements. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.
