About Me
Hello there. I am currently Pre- Reg & I am on track for a January opening!
I am 30 years old. I live with my long-term partner, our two children and a cat named Splodge. We are in Stapleford - a short walk from Wadsworth Fields Primary School and a few minutes from A52. I am conveniently within walking distance to 4 different parks including Bramcote, 2 play groups and a play cafe. I love getting out and about and I will be encouraging this in all weathers with the children too. I am friends with another local childminder and can arrange meet-ups for the children to play, learn and interact. I have recently designed my conservatory specifically for minding, this is a really lovely space you are welcome to come and see. I plan to use all of my downstairs and large enclosed rear garden. I also like to visit softplays, local farms, shops etc so the children can gain real life experiences in the community and begin to understand the world around them. I will be following the EYFS Statutory framework, providing an enabling environment and resources to help them learn and thrive. They do this best when they feel safe, happy and loved which is my main goal. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking new recipes for my family and volunteering for a local foodbank.
My Experience
Firstly, I have two wonderful children of my own aged 4 and 7. I care deeply about children getting the right start in life to set them up as well rounded individuals for a bright future. I have used childminders and understand the journey & process of finding the right childcare. I am here to support you and your child. I have 10 years experience working with children in an SEN school where I have also picked up basic makaton sign language. I particularly enjoyed my work in early years provision. I have also worked in the field of mental health which I am passionate about. Going back further -I have fond memories of frequently babysitting my sisters children as a teenager which was where my love of the early years started!
My Qualifications
Level three qualification in supporting teaching and learning
Level three qualification in counselling skills and studies
I am currently pre- registration with a CMA. I'm on track for a January opening. I will have DBS checks, Paediatric first Aid and ongoing personal development training and seminars.

- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.80 per hour
