My Summary
About Me
I am a friendly, patient, and caring university student currently studying nursing. I have previous experience working as a teaching assistant at my former primary school, where I gained valuable insight into supporting children’s learning. I enjoy helping young children build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning. My approach is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I can help with basic English, reading, spelling, and primary school maths. I aim to make lessons enjoyable while helping every child develop a strong foundation for their future education.
My Experience
During my time as a teaching assistant at my former primary school, I supported children with their learning and helped them understand different topics. I built lovely relationships with the children by being patient, caring, approachable, and encouraging. I was delighted to see how comfortable they felt around me and how much they enjoyed having me in the classroom. By the time I left, many of the children were sad to see me go, which showed me how meaningful our connection had become. This experience strengthened my passion for helping young children learn, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSEs and achieved BTEC qualifications in Information Technology (IT) and Business. I am currently studying Adult Nursing at university, where I continue to develop my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. My educational background has given me a strong foundation in a range of subjects, while my current studies have strengthened my ability to be patient, responsible, and supportive. I am passionate about helping young children learn, build confidence, and develop their skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
