About Me
We’re Alice and Alex, and we’ve called the Chew Valley home for over eight years. We have a little boy, Monty, who’s currently eight months old, and our golden retriever, Nellie, who’s very much part of the family!
We love being outdoors, exploring local walks and, ideally, finding a good pub along the way. I work remotely at a pharmaceutical and life sciences consultancy, whilst Alex works in charity-sector investments and commutes to London one day a week.
We’re a family who value time outdoors, a warm home environment and giving Monty the space to learn, explore and grow. We’re excited to find someone who feels like a natural fit for our family and becomes part of Monty’s world as he grows.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a warm, nurturing nanny to join our family two days a week from January 2027 and become a long-term part of our family.
Someone who creates age-appropriate activities centred around learning, enrichment and open-ended play, giving Monty the freedom to explore, try new things, build confidence and learn that it’s okay to fail.
We’d love someone who can gently support his growing independence through milestones like using cutlery and potty training, balancing encouragement with patience and care.
Above all, we’re looking for another loving, trusted figure in Monty’s life — someone who brings the warmth of a parent alongside a knowledge of childhood development and a genuine passion for helping little ones learn and grow.
