Lily's Nursery and Daycare is a small day nursery on North Star Boulevard, in the heart of Greenhithe — an easy walk for families across Greenhithe, Stone and Knockhall, and minutes from Greenhithe station, Bluewater and the A2/M25 for parents commuting to London.
We're built around the way local families actually live. Our day runs 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year, so an early train or a late finish doesn't mean scrambling for cover. With 43 places across three rooms — a dedicated baby room for up to eight babies from six months, plus toddler and preschool rooms — every child is known by name, and settling-in happens at your child's pace.
Our preschool room is led by a qualified Early Years Teacher, giving children a confident start before they move on to Knockhall Primary, Alkerden and other local schools. Government-funded hours (15 and 30 hours) are accepted, and you can choose an hours-only or all-inclusive package, with a discount for five-day places.
Lily's is director-led: our Designated Safeguarding Lead is on site day to day, and we're Ofsted registered (URN 2911490). Visits are always welcome — come and see us.

Fees and funding at Lily’s Nursery and Daycare
At Lily’s, we believe quality childcare should be affordable and fit around your family, not the other way round. Our team of experienced educators works alongside parents to build a weekly pattern that suits your working life and makes the most of any funded hours.
We’re open 07:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, for children aged 6 months to 5 years. You can choose full days (10 or 11 hours) or half days (mornings or afternoons). Fees are split into 12 equal monthly payments, so a month with a bank holiday costs the same as any other, and there’s no charge for bank holidays or the Christmas closure. Families booking five full days get 7.5% off.
We accept all government-funded hours, including 15 and 30 hours for working parents (from 9 months) and 15 hours for eligible 2-year-olds and for all 3- and 4-year-olds. Funded hours can be taken term-time only (38 weeks) or stretched across the year (50 weeks). Funded hours are free, and many funded patterns cost nothing at all.
Paid sessions start from £39 for a half day. You can choose Hours only, or Inclusive, which covers freshly cooked meals, nappies, wipes, sun cream and activities. Inclusive is always optional and never a condition of a funded place. We accept Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers.
