My Summary

My Experience

- While looking after a 5 year old boy for the last 3 years, I was responsible for reading, doing simple spelling tasks together, as well as putting him to bed. I worked whenever his parents worked late or had scheduled plans. I also planned loads of fun activities to keep him busy, both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather.

- I looked after a 2 year old over the last year, which involved going on walks to the playground/park close to the home, as well as cooking meals and settling them for nap times during the day. I did this around once a week during this year.

- Finally, I also looked after 2 girls, 7 and 1 years old, only a few times over the last year. This involved nap times for the 1 year old, helping with homework with the 7 year old, and doing suitable activities for each of the ages. For example, for the 1 year old we did simple toy play while exploring different things around the house, while with the 7 year old we did things such as pretending to be in a hair salon or classroom.

My Qualifications

I have completed my GCSE's in English literature and language, maths, science, business, IT and psychology.
I have also completed A-levels in Chemistry, Psychology and Biology as well as completing an EPQ about health and nutrition.
I have completed a first aid awareness course
I have completed 3 DBS checks in the last 2 years

My Availability

I’m open to arranging a schedule that works comfortably for everyone. My availability is adaptable, and I’m happy to discuss a schedule that aligns well with your family’s needs while also working for me. Therefore availability generally depends on what is discussed and whether I can confidently meet the requirements of the family's needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

My normal rate is £18 an hour but if the babysitting role requires picking up from school using a car or driving to and from activities the fee may vary due to travel costs.
