My Experience
I have gained hands on childcare experience through regularly babysitting my younger cousins, who are aged 3 and 6. Looking after children of different ages has helped me develop patience, responsibility and an understanding of their different needs. Although I haven't worked in a professional childcare setting, I have experience caring for children within my family and understand the importance of keeping them safe, happy and comfortable. I'm confident following parents' instructions and routines and am always willing to learn and develop my childcare skills.
My Qualifications
Although I don't currently have any formal childcare qualifications, I completed two weeks of work experience at a youth club during Year 10, where I helped organise and participate in activities with children. This experience helped me develop my communication, teamwork and organisational skills. I have also gained practical childcare experience through regularly babysitting my younger cousins, aged 3 and 6.
