Marleen
Babysitter in Birmingham
My Summary
About Me
I am currently a part time student at the University of Birmingham studying a masters in applied linguistics. I have experience in working with children, from my performance roles in the Audley End Enchanted Railway to being a staff member and teacher at the Gordonstoun International Summer School (through whom I acquired a PVG check). I have a great interest in performing arts, arts and crafts, sports, adventure training, academia, and cooking.
My Experience
I have experience with looking after children from my job as a staff member in the Gordonstoun International Summer School, where I taught performing arts but also was an in-house staff, looking after large groups of children aged 8-16 on a daily, 24 hour basis. I have also babysat my own brother (10 years my younger), as well as family friends when I was a teenager. I was also employed at the Audley End Enchanted Railway, where I interacted with children aged 0-11.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in modern languages, a PVG check (although that was for employment with Gordonstoun International Summer School, whom I still work for). I also have a RYA first aid qualification
My Availability
I am available alongside my part time studies, and Tuesdays and Thursday evenings I am unavailable to work. Some weeks I may have trips I need to go on.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
