About Me
Hello, I’m Chloe. Welcome to The Little Coastal Nest which I created from a belief that children deserve more than simply being cared for; they deserve to feel known, valued and understood.
Throughout my career, I have developed a unique combination of skills and experience across financial services, education, leadership, and business management.
In 2017, I became a solo parent to my daughter Penelope and decided to retrain as a primary school teacher, driven by the desire to work more directly with children and make a meaningful difference to their lives. My journey then developed into school leadership and operational management, where I had the opportunity to help create and establish an independent school foundationally through opening and operating.
Having experienced every element of creating an educational environment - from shaping the physical space and operational systems to recruiting teams, developing processes and preparing the school to open successfully – I became inspired to create something meaningful myself. The Little Coastal Nest brings together everything I have developed throughout my career:

The Little Coastal Nest has been created from the belief that children need spaces where they can slow down, feel safe, and be themselves. A place where they are not simply another child attending childcare, but an individual who is genuinely known.
My Experience
I’ve created a nurturing, coastal inspired, home-from-home where children can start their school day feeling settled and supported, and return to a relaxed, welcoming environment where relationships, wellbeing and meaningful experiences take centre stage.
The Little Coastal Nest is where:

The Little Coastal Nest is not designed to simply fill childcare hours. It exists to enrich a positive childhood experience. Parents recognise that the setting is different because it is intentionally small. Every child will be seen, heard, known and understood.
Rather than children becoming part of a large group, they will have a personalised experience built around relationships. Your child is cared for by someone who understands children, education, and wellbeing.

- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Morning Nest Session: £10.00
Afternoon Nest Session: £20.00
