Bryana
Nanny in Woking
My Summary
About Me
I am a creative, inspiring and compassionate nursery nurse holding a level 3 qualification in childcare. Currently working at a local nursery for 9 years, but with 12 years of experience overall. I am looking for a part time or full time position as a nanny to support families. I have always believed that working with children is so much more than just caring for them — it’s about nurturing their curiosity, celebrating their individuality, and helping them discover just how much they are capable of.
Prior to working as a nursery nurse, I gained a degree in Fashion Textiles, a grade 8 in the violin, and can play the piano. I also have an interest for animals, plants, singing and messy play, and I enjoy incorporating all these things to create an inspiring way of learning for all children.
My Experience
I have gained experience in the baby room for the majority of my time at the nursery, caring for babies, planning activities and preparing them for the next room in the nursery using the EYFS and Montessori approach to learning. For a few years, I worked in the preschool room. I enjoyed supporting the children by planning activities based on their interests, supported them for school, and toilet training.
I currently work in the baby room, and I would say that this is my favourite age group. Every baby is unique, and I enjoy catering to their needs, supporting them with milestones and helping them blossom.
One of the things I love most about working with children is knowing that even the smallest moments can make the biggest difference. Whether it’s encouraging a baby to reach their first milestones or inspiring a preschooler to explore, learn and become more independent, I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey.
I worked at a private school for a year, encouraging children ages 4-7, to enjoy and develop themselves within a learning environment.
I babysat for children ages 1-10, supporting them with play, their night routine and putting them to bed.
