I’m a caring, creative, and warm-hearted person who has always had a natural connection with children. Growing up in a small town where community and looking after one another were important values, I learned from a young age how meaningful it is to care for others.
As an older sister, caring for others has always been a natural part of my life. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, and I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and encouraged to be themselves.
I love bringing creativity into children’s everyday lives through imaginative play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and theatre. For me, caring for children is about more than just looking after them, it’s about building trust, creating a nurturing environment, and being someone they feel comfortable and happy around.
My Experience
My experience caring for children goes back to the age of 11. I grew up in a close-knit community where babysitting was a natural part of life, and over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for children of different ages and watching them grow.
In my early twenties, I worked in a school where I was responsible for two classes of approximately 20 students each. I also taught theatre, which gave me valuable experience working with groups of children, encouraging their creativity, and helping them express themselves with confidence.
These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and understanding that every child has their own personality and needs. I’m comfortable taking responsibility, creating engaging activities, and making sure children feel supported and cared for.
With my combination of practical experience, creativity, and genuine love for working with children, I hope to bring a sense of warmth, trust, and fun to every family I work with.
My Qualifications
Although I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, I have years of hands-on experience caring for children, starting at the age of 11. As an older sister and former theatre teacher, I’ve learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and creativity. I’m passionate about creating a safe, warm, and fun environment where children feel loved, supported, and free to express themselves. I believe that genuine care, trust, and understanding are at the heart of good childcare. ??

I have flexible availability and am available during the daytime throughout the week, as well as on weekends. I’m happy to discuss your family’s schedule and find a time that works best for everyone. I look forward to helping your family!
