I’m a loving, caring and nurturing person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and supporting their development. I’m patient, gentle and attentive, and I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued and understood.

My Experience
I have five years of experience working with children across nursery and school settings, alongside hands-on childcare and babysitting experience.
I spent two years working in a nursery with children aged 0-5, and have also worked as a teaching assistant for primary aged children. I recently ventured into secondary education working as an Learning Support Assistant for children aged 11-18. My aim is to deepen my understanding of children and their development holistically. I enjoy supporting their learning, development and emotional well-being. My experience includes helping with homework and reading, supporting classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and adapting activities to suit individual needs.
I also have valuable childcare experience through my mother, who is a foster carer. I have supported her as a respite carer, caring for up to four children at a time, ranging from ages 1 to 16. This has given me experience caring for children of different ages, personalities and backgrounds, while understanding the importance of patience, consistency and creating a safe, nurturing environment.
I have experience supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD and hearing impairment. I understand the importance of adapting my communication, being attentive to individual needs and helping every child feel included, understood and supported.
I also hold a 2:1 degree in Psychology, which has strengthened my understanding of child development, behaviour and emotional well-being. I can provide support with homework, reading and educational activities, alongside fun and engaging play.
My combination of professional experience, practical childcare experience and psychology background allows me to offer attentive, compassionate and reliable childcare tailored to each family’s needs.
