About Me
I am a qualified teacher with over fifteen years of childcare experience. I have worked with families in the UK and in South Africa. I am German native speaker and also have a working knowledge of Spanish. I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors with children, assisting them in developing curiosity and appreciation for nature. I love animals and gardening and am happy to help families with that, too.
My Experience
I have had various roles: nanny (2y-9y), childminder (babies to 8y), teacher (2-11 years), nursery manager in a private, bilingual Kindergarten in Cape Town, mentor (high-school), private tutor (5-15 years; SATs; 11+), and language coach (expats families with children aged 7-13). I have supported children with visual and mobility impairments, autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome. Across every role, I have had the privilege of helping children grow in confidence, find their voice, and realise what they are capable of. Alongside this, I have built strong relationships with the families around them, becoming a trusted source of support.

• PGCE Primary Education, University of London
• Diploma in Child Psychology
• Level 5 TEFL Qualification
My Availability
I am looking for a permanent role with a minimum set of hours/salary, to be discussed. No ad-hoc, temporary work. Also happy to consider live-in depending on location and package.
