About Me
Hi! We're expecting our first baby in March 2027 and are excited to be preparing for this next chapter as a family.
We both work full-time—I'm in educational publishing and my husband runs the music courses at Leeds Arts University. Outside of work, we're currently (slowly!) renovating our family home, which keeps us busy, but we also love spending quality time together. We enjoy walking, travelling, discovering great food, watching a good film or TV series, and heading to the occasional live music gig.
We're a relaxed, friendly couple who value kindness, organisation and routine. Healthy eating is important to us, and we love cooking from scratch at home. We can't wait to encourage our little one to explore the world, enjoy the outdoors, get creative and develop a love of learning. We're excited to find a childcare provider who will become an important part of our child's early years.
My Requirements
We're looking for a full-time childminder or nursery place for our baby from January 2028, when I'll be returning to work after maternity leave. We're looking for year-round childcare rather than term-time only.
We're based in LS17 and would ideally like someone close to home, although we're happy to travel a little further for the right setting.
We're hoping to find a warm, caring and reliable childcare provider who will take the time to get to know our child as an individual and build a genuine, trusting relationship with them. We'd love a setting that offers plenty of outdoor play, creative and messy activities, opportunities to learn through play, and healthy, balanced meals. Finding someone who feels like a trusted extension of our family is really important to us, and we're looking for a place where our child will feel happy, secure and encouraged to thrive.
