My Experience
My 20-year career includes extensive 1:1 medical care, community mentoring, and 6 years working within a SEND primary school.
- SEND School (6 Years): Worked for 4 years as a Teaching Assistant and the last 2 years as an Unqualified Teacher, managing classrooms with high-behavioral needs and diverse sensory profiles.
- Complex Medical Care (8 Years): Provided 1:1 care for a child with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), managing their oxygen (O2) needs and tracheostomy care both during school commutes and at home.
- Live-In & Community PA Support: Spent 4 years as a live-in carer managing household chores and cooking, and worked as a Personal Assistant taking autistic young adults out into the community.
- Private Childcare: Decades of overnight care and babysitting for neurotypical and neurodivergent children, alongside growing up with two younger sisters.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education from Chichester University and maintain a comprehensive suite of specialist medical and safety training. My certifications are regularly updated to meet strict school standards and include:
• First Aid & Anaphylaxis/Asthma care
• Epilepsy training & Safeguarding (including Prevent)
• Manual Handling & Positive Behavior Management (SEND)
My Availability
I have full availiabilty on Tuesdays. Otherwise, due to work commitments and currently learning to drive. I am only available between the hours of 4pm - 8am M, W,T in the Worthing and local areas. With a larger availability with arrangement on weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Standard Rate: My rates start from £15.00 – £20.00 per hour, depending on the complexity of care required, behavior management needs, or medical support involved.
I am happy to discuss flat overnight rates or tailored packages for consistent weekly hours. Please get in touch to discuss a rate that works for your requirements.
