My Summary

My Experience

I have experience with children of all ages. I have volunteered as a youth leader for 5 years, working within both girlguiding UK and St John Ambulance, as well as volunteering in a nursery, and helping to care for my 3 younger brothers. I am first aid trained (both generally AND specifically in children), and hold several clear enhanced DBS checks. I also have experience with SEND, physical disabilities, and even just generally tricky children! I have always greatly enjoyed spending time with children, fostering emotional growth and education through every day activities.

My Qualifications

I have an Enhanced DBS check, and a community first aider qualification with St John Ambulance, which trained me adequately in both child and adult first aid. I have also done specific paediatric first aid courses. I have a Young Leader's qualification with girlguiding, and a Youth helper qualification with St John Ambulance, both of which have adequately trained me in communicating with, and safeguarding young people. I also have experience volunteering as a youth leader for both these organisations (5 years with girlguiding and 2 years with St John Ambulance), with young people ages 4-17 across various groups. I also have experience volunteering in a nursery, with children ages 1-3.

My Availability

I am generally available all day on Wednesdays and weekends, and in the evenings on other days. This availability does fluctuate sometimes depending on whether I am out on clinical placement, but if you would like to discuss please get in touch and I am happy to see if we can make it work!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

I charge £11 an hour for up to two children, with extra children incurring additional fees (an extra £3 per child 4 or over, £5 for children under the age of 4). However, times are tough and I am willing to negotiate this for genuine people who are struggling
