I am a mum looking for a caring, patient and understanding childminder for my lovely 2year +(almost 3)old daughter in the Falkirk area. My daughter has spina bifida and hydrocephalus and has a shunt fitted. She is a happy little girl who currently gets around by crawling and is not yet standing or walking independently. And my 9months old daughter who has no issues.
I am hoping to find someone who is compassionate, attentive and experienced in caring for young children with additional support needs. It is important to me that my daughter is safe, included, loved and supported to develop at her own pace in a nurturing environment.
My Requirements
I am looking for regular childcare in Falkirk for my 2-year-old (Almost 3) daughter, who has spina bifida and hydrocephalus and has a shunt fitted.
My daughter is not currently standing or walking. She moves around by crawling on her tummy, so I am looking for a caring, patient and understanding childminder who is comfortable supporting her mobility and physical needs.
Ideally, I would love to find a Care Inspectorate-registered childminder with experience caring for children with physical disabilities, medical needs or additional support needs. It is important that they are willing to follow her individual care plan, understand the precautions needed because of her shunt, and know what to do in an emergency.
Above all, I want to find someone kind, trustworthy and inclusive who will make my daughter feel safe, happy and loved, while supporting her development at her own pace.
