About Me

Hello!
I’m Lacey, 26, currently working part time as a receptionist.

I have plenty of experience with children of various ages.

My personal skills include cooking, baking, housekeeping, first aid training and a clean driving licence.

My creative skills include crochet, watercolour painting, sewing and creative writing and much more!



Health and safety:
In previous employment as a lifeguard I have received first aid training (child and adult) and I know how to perform CPR and the Heimlich manoeuvre (again, for child and adults) if necessary.

Cooking:
I pride myself on my cooking/baking abilities. I can cater for parties, events or simple dinners.
I am great with cooking many cuisines and I love cake decorating!
When catering for people with allergies or intolerances, I take extra precautions.
As a coeliac, I am incredibly careful with cross contamination and food allergy labels. If you have a child with any allergies, I promise you will not find someone more conscious when preparing such meals.


Education:
I have 7 GCSE qualifications, 4 A-levels and a Bachelors degree in English and creative writing.

I am more than happy to assist in homework of all types and will do my best to help research in subjects I am not confident in.


Childcare and development:

Given the opportunity, I would love to be able to assist and care for your children to the best of my ability.
I believe all children deserve respect, privacy and to be treated with dignity.

I am a very positive person who loves to have fun, sing, dance and be creative! I will make sure that your children are well cared for under my supervision but most of all that they feel safe being with me.


Discipline is something I do not deal with personally.
In times of naughty behaviour, I calmly approach the child and try to resolve their emotions in the best manner possible. All reports of any ill behaviour and outcomes will be made upon your return.

Any physical or verbal abuse is not acceptable and I will notify you to return as soon as possible.

I will not be distracted by my phone, I do not drink alcohol or smoke/vape, I do not partake in recreational drugs of any class.
