Night Nanny Job in Telford
About Me
The adults: We are a married couple in our 40s living in Apley, Telford who have not been able to go out or spend dedicated time together for a number of years due to various care responsibilities/lack of available family to help us with babysitting. We would like some help in being able to go out on dates in an evening or go to the odd gig. The option to occassionally stay out until 11pm/midnight would be fantastic and, once comfortable, overnights could be considered. Initially would be ad-hoc, but would happily make it a regular set thing.
The children: 2 children, a boy aged 2 and a girl aged 5. No SEN requirements. Both are happy, communicative kids who have responded well to a child minder in the past. Bedtime can be a minor ordeal as they both want to be cuddled to sleep, so can feel like a 2-person job. Given their ages, we'd prefer somebody who has the appropriate DBS checks/infant 1st aid/experience with early years and the normal challenges that come with it.
My Requirements
As above, appropriate checks/qualifications to keep them safe. Must be comfortable with performing the bedtime routine. Preferably give us the option to stay out a bit later at times.
Must be good at settling children and spending nice time with them as they settle for bed as they tend to come alive a bit at that point!
