Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We are a family living in Clapham South, a vibrant, green, and family-friendly neighborhood in Southwest London.
Our daily life revolves around the local community, its parks, and the schools. For our everyday travel between home and school, we favor eco-friendly, active transport: we provide an electric cargo bike and an electric bicycle equipped with a child seat. This is our preferred way to get around the neighborhood easily and safely with the whole crew.
Our family: our three children are cheerful and thriving.
Our home life is shaped by our three children, each at a different stage of their development:
Castille (7½ years old): The eldest. She is in school and becoming increasingly independent. She needs a structured routine after school, including help with homework and engaging, relaxing activities.
Auguste (5 years old): The middle child. Also in school, he is a curious, high-energy boy who enjoys fun activities and games after a day at school.
Marceau (1½ years old): The youngest. He requires gentle, attentive care—whether while traveling (safely secured in the cargo bike or child seat), having his afternoon snack, or following his end-of-day routines.
My Requirements
We are looking for consistent, structured support to manage the transition from school to home, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (approximately 20 hours per week).
Key responsibilities:
School pickups (starting at 3:00 PM): Collecting the children from their respective schools in the neighborhood (École du Parc – Stormont and École Wix – Clapham). Travel between locations will be by bicycle (cargo or electric bike).
Returning home and snack time: Providing a relaxed transition period, preparing snacks, and ensuring the children’s well-being after their school day.
Homework and activities: Assisting Castille (and Auguste, if necessary) with light homework, and organizing games or activities suited to each child’s age.
Evening routine (until 7:00 PM): Managing bath time and getting the children settled for the end of the day before our return.
