Hey, my name's Jemma and I am 34 years old!
I am a friendly, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner with a BA degree and professional experience working with children aged 2–5 in a nursery setting.
I am passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, and believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued and listened to. I enjoy providing fun, engaging and age-appropriate experiences that encourage children to explore, learn through play, build confidence and develop their independence.
My Experience
Through my nursery experience, I have developed a good understanding of children's individual needs, emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour support and the importance of establishing trusting relationships with both children and their families.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when leaving their children in someone else's care. I aim to create a warm, nurturing and relaxed environment where children feel happy, secure and supported.
I am looking to offer childcare during weekends and school holidays, with the aim of providing reliable, flexible and high-quality care to local families.
My Qualifications
I am SSSC registered. PVG checked. I have lots of training including ASN training.
I work for a local authority council currently.
I have just completed my BA in childcare at university.
My Availability
I will be available most weekend. I currently work term time so will be offering availability throughout school holidays.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
