Mathu
Private Tutor in Croydon, London
My Summary
About Me
My background is in science, so I'm especially comfortable with maths, biology and chemistry. Through my teaching, degree and lab work I've learned to explain complex ideas clearly. I've also given health talks to community groups and won a university prize for a project on communicating health risks to the public. That's what I enjoy most: making difficult things easy to understand.
I'm very patient and adaptable, and I have experience working with children with SEN and EHCP needs. I tailor each session to the individual student. I adjust my pace and approach to suit how they learn best, focus on their weak areas, check understanding as we go, and keep parents updated on progress.
I'm happy to tutor from 11+ to A-Level in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, [online / in person / both]. Feel free to message me to arrange a chat!
My Experience
I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, plus over a year of experience as a teacher and in home schooling. I specialise in 11+ preparation, and my students have gained places at Wilson's School, Wallington County Grammar School, Nonsuch High School for Girls and Wallington High School for Girls. I also tutor GCSE, and every one of my GCSE students has passed. I have worked with children with SEN and EHCP needs, adapting my teaching to suit each child's learning style and pace.
Also I have 100% success
