My Experience

My name is Dion, and I am a 29-year-old mother to my three-year-old daughter who lives in the gowerton area . While exploring my options within education, I developed a keen interest in childcare and have since completed qualifications in Level 3 Childcare Learning & Development, as well as Double Health and Social Care. Currently, I am employed at Singleton Hospital, and in my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my daughter and engaging in various activities to stay active.



I have previous experience working in nurseries and primary schools, and I have also babysat for families during weekends. With my own toddler now, I am pleased to let you know that I am more flexible and ready to offer babysitting services once again. I am in the process of reapplying for my DBS check, which will be posted within the next seven days, and I will update this information as soon as I receive it. Additionally, I am happy to provide a viewing of my home and I hold a full driving licence.



As a reliable and friendly babysitter, I am often available during evenings, weekends, and my days off from hospital work. References can be provided upon request.

To enhance my understanding of children with additional needs, I have completed online courses related to autism. This is particularly meaningful to me, as I have twin nieces aged 11, one of whom has autism and ODD. I am comfortable working with children who require extra patience and support. I adopt a calm and friendly approach and am knowledgeable about children’s development, including activities that support fine motor skills. I am also comfortable with meal preparation and am fully aware of allergen considerations, thanks to my current role.
I aim to keep my hourly rate as affordable as possible, recognising the challenges of balancing work and childcare costs.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 childcare learning & development qualification along with a double health and social care award . I have also completed a St Johns first aid training course

My Availability

I have every weekend and bank holidays off and also a Wednesday . I finish at 3pm on other days so can do school runs and evenings on those days sometimes I am off on annual leave so my availability is greater so worth a message

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I aim to keep my hourly rate as affordable as possible, recognising the challenges of balancing work and childcare costs. It can change depending on overnight requests although I do try to do it as affordable as possible especially siblings . I normally offer a fee of £7.50 however I had to put the figure 10 or greater into the fees box .
