About Me
I am an 18 year old looking for nannying and babysitting jobs. I have a love for working with children but enjoy working 1-on-1 with children of smaller groups rather than larger groups (nursery or primary school work). I have 7 siblings myself including a 7, 5, 4 and 3 year old which I often help to care for. With this, I have gained experience in looking after children from newborn to school ages. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, spending time with family and friends, reading and skiing. I have recently finished Sixth Form in Sheffield with Distinction star, Distinction and Distinction grades. I have an automatic driving licence with my own car which I use regularly. I would describe my personality as being friendly and energetic. I find it easy to get along with new faces and communicate with adults and children to understand them better. I enjoy playing and being imaginative with children and can find new ways to entertain them whilst being involved.
My Experience
I have completed 4 years of health and social care at GCSE and A-levels with Distinction Star and Distinction grades. This helped me to understand the responsibilities of how to care for children. I also completed 2 different work experiences for my school at a nursery and primary school. This included working with children of all ages from 6 months to 11 years old. This has allowed me to understand the different care needs of different aged children and how to care for them based on their age. I have previously done many babysitting jobs for parents in my area aswell and regularly caring for my own siblings.
My Qualifications
I have a GCSE qualification in health and social care which I got graded a Distinction star. I have also got a BTEC A-level which I got graded a Distinction. These qualifications included me learning about how to care for children and the needs children need. I learnt what different aged children need and when they develop certain instincts. Although I have not done other qualifications, I feel as though my experience and knowledge on how to care for children is well developed and I am capable of caring for children of all ages.
My Availability
I am available to work all hours throughout the week and am open to working weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
When doing childcare, I have had a set rate of £15 an hour however I am open to changing this depending on the hours I am working.
