About Me
Hi, I’m Laura, a registered childminder based in Kirkcaldy, near Victoria Hospital. My service offers a friendly and relaxed environment, where children can feel comfortable, have fun and be themselves.
I have a wee boy of my own who is 6, so I know how important it is to find childcare where your little ones feel happy, safe and cared for.
I love creating fun experiences for children, whether that’s getting creative with arts and crafts, playing outdoors, exploring new things or simply enjoying everyday activities together.
I offer childcare Monday to Wednesday, including school and nursery pick-ups from Sinclairtown Primary School and Gallatown Nursery.
My aim is to make my setting feel like a little home away from home, where children can make friends, build confidence and have lots of fun while parents have peace of mind knowing they’re well looked after.
My Experience
I have a background in adult nursing training and experience working in residential care homes supporting looked-after children living in the community.
I also have experience of working in nursing and residential homes caring for the elderly.
Throughout my experience, I’ve always had a real passion for caring for others, especially children and the elderly. I love being able to make a difference in people’s lives, helping them feel safe, supported, valued and cared for.
My experience has taught me the importance of patience, understanding and treating everyone as an individual. These are values I bring into my childminding service, where I want every child to feel loved, included and happy.
