My Experience

I am a dedicated, caring and experienced childcare professional with a diverse background in education, creative learning, wraparound childcare, holiday camps and specialist support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

My experience in education began as a Trainee Secondary Art Teacher at Rosebery School for Girls, where I developed skills in lesson planning, classroom management, creative teaching and supporting young people’s educational and personal development. With a degree in Fashion Promotion and Imaging, alongside qualifications in Art and Design, I have a strong creative background and particularly enjoy encouraging children’s imagination, confidence and self-expression through engaging activities.

I subsequently worked as Chief Operating Officer at New Era Academy Training, gaining experience within an organisation providing children’s holiday camps and wraparound care. This strengthened my understanding of childcare operations, activity planning, safeguarding and creating positive environments for children.

More recently, I have worked within the childcare team at Club Vale, St Martin’s Church of England Primary School, supporting children in a school-based childcare setting. I have also worked as a Class and Event Assistant with Cook Stars, helping deliver creative, interactive cooking experiences for children.

I currently work as a Specialist SEN Nanny for a private family in Surrey, providing personalised wraparound and respite care for two sisters with severe autism and complex additional needs. My responsibilities include managing daily routines, personal care, preparing meals, organising activities and outings, supporting emotional regulation and implementing positive behaviour support strategies. I adapt my approach to each child’s individual communication, sensory and emotional needs, working closely with the family to provide consistency, reassurance and opportunities to develop independence.

I hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, a full UK driving licence and extensive relevant training, including Advanced Safeguarding Levels 1, 2 and 3, Autism Awareness and Support, Positive Behaviour Support, First Aid, Epilepsy Awareness, Medication Practice, Learning Disability Awareness and Food Safety and Hygiene.

I would describe myself as patient, nurturing, creative, organised and dependable. I genuinely enjoy working with children of different ages and abilities and believe in balancing structure and routine with fun, creativity and opportunities to learn. Above all, I aim to create a safe, happy and supportive environment where children feel understood, encouraged and confident, while giving parents complete peace of mind.

My Availability

I am currently available Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–3:45pm, with full availability Friday to Sunday. From February 2027, I am seeking a full-time position as a Nanny, Family Personal Assistant or a combination of both. I am also happy to assist with household administration, organisation, errands, household management and general day-to-day support. I am based between Kingswood and Epsom Downs, so travel distance and commuting times would need to be considered. An earlier start may also be possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

My childcare rates start from £20 per hour, reflecting my experience in education, childcare and specialist SEN support. Rates may vary depending on individual care requirements, the number of children, hours and responsibilities involved. Specialist SEN support, respite care, weekends and bank holidays are priced accordingly.
