My Requirements

I'm looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate individual to provide after-school care for my 7-year-old daughter in Whetstone, Leicester.

**Hours & Availability:**
- Every Tuesday after school, approximately 2–4 hours
- One Thursday per month after school, approximately 2–4 hours
- Minimum of 10 hours per month guaranteed
- Potential for additional hours providing occasional evening/date night cover if we're a good fit

My daughter has complex medical and additional needs, including a tracheostomy, epilepsy and limited mobility. She is non-verbal but communicates through facial expressions and has a wonderful little personality.

She requires assistance with all aspects of daily care, including tracheostomy care, seizure monitoring, tube feeding, personal care, mobility and positioning, as well as companionship and engagement.

**Full training will be provided**, so previous experience with complex medical needs isn't essential. However, a willingness to learn and complete the necessary training and competency assessments before providing independent care is essential.

We're looking for someone patient, attentive, dependable and genuinely interested in getting to know our daughter. Experience with children or additional needs would be beneficial, and appropriate references and safeguarding checks will be required.

**Pay:** Approximately £15 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.

Ideally, we'd love to find someone who can become a consistent, trusted part of our daughter's routine, with the opportunity for additional hours as we build a relationship.
