About Me
I’d describe myself as a friendly, bubbly and down-to-earth person. I’m naturally caring, patient and nurturing, and I love being around people and making them feel comfortable and at ease.
I’m a mum myself, so family life is a huge part of who I am. I’m quite creative and love keeping busy, whether that’s getting out and about, doing something crafty or finding little activities to make the day more fun. I’m also very organised, reliable and someone who likes to get stuck in rather than sit on the sidelines.
I have a warm and relaxed personality and don’t take myself too seriously. I’d like to think I’m someone children can have fun and be silly with, while still feeling safe, cared for and supported.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of roles and settings. I’m Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Education and have previous experience working as a nanny, Baby Room Leader, Senior Room Manager and within children’s sensory play classes.
I have cared for children from babies upwards and am confident with all aspects of day-to-day care, including feeding, nappies and personal care, sleep routines, preparing activities, outings, play and supporting children’s development.
More recently, I have also worked with children and young people with SEND, including those with complex and additional needs. I’m comfortable adapting my approach to each individual child and understand the importance of providing patient, consistent and nurturing care.
I also have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. I have also completed specialist training in supporting children with additional needs, including Safety Intervention and crisis prevention training.
I am due to undertaken Paediatric First Aid training and regularly complete additional training relevant to safeguarding, child development, health and safety and providing high-quality care for children.
My Availability
Term time ideally but can have a degree of flexibility if required through school holidays
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
