My Summary

My Experience

Although I haven't worked professionally in childcare before, I completed a 10 week placement at an autism facility where I worked with children aged 4 to 8, both verbal and non-verbal. While there, I learned their individual personalities and behaviours, supported activities and learning and managed challenging behaviour. This gave me valuable hands on experience working in a care setting.

My most recent childcare experience is looking after my one year old nephew and two year old niece. This includes changing nappies, preparing bottles, feeding, planning activities, taking them to the park and putting them down for naps. I also enjoy arts, crafts and baking which I include the children in to help with their creativity.

These experiences taught me about patience, understanding and how to adapt to each child's needs. They also encouraged me to keep building my knowledge and grow my passion for working with children.

My Qualifications

I have completed a level 3 health and social care qualification and also hold a GCSE in health, social and child care.

My Availability

I am available throughout the week but only until 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays due to my weekend job. However, I could accommodate to later hours on those days if given notice.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.85 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

As I am new to the childcare industry, my current rate is £10.85 per hour. I'm happy to discuss fees depending on the number of children, the hours required, and the type of childcare needed.
