About Me

I am a registered childminder with Early Years Degree & 25 years experience in Early Years. My setting is aimed at 0-30 months allowing children to have a solid foundation prior to nursery. Having been an Early Years educator and manager of a nurseries in both Australia and England I am confident in my knowledge and understanding of young children and working with you to support your child in a nurturing and supportive way so that they may grow, learn, explore and thrive. I have 4 children aged 12 - 21 years therefore have perspective of both a parent and educator and the juggles that face families. I have previously been a childminder I have decided to return to the profession. I am passionate about children having the best start in life, having access to the wider community and that learning and development is best supported when children have strong relationships with carers who can meet their individual needs. I love the outdoors and nature pedagogy plays a large role in my personal philosophy. When your children are with me they will spend the mornings out in them community both at local groups, meeting and building relationships with other children in my wider childminder network, in nature in local outdoor spaces and my allotment. We will return for naps in the afternoon before activities in my home and garden prior to your return to collect them. If you would like to enquire about my services please get in touch.
