My Experience

I cared for many families in the 1980s and 90s with ages from 3 mths to six years part-time and full-time, i gave up nannying to have my own children then took a different career path until now looking after my two boys as a single mother. I know the difficulties of childcare and work. My boys are now grown and i have been thinking of getting back to looking after children again. At 60, im very fit , able, very capable, positive and happy to help. Im looking for a change and feel i could help a family, my 'empty nest' feeling is probibly why.

My Qualifications

studied as NNEB in 1985. Worked as Nanny for 12 years with proffessional couples in the west end of glasgow. A mother of two boys for 26 years. Children from the age of birth onwards.

My Availability

Id like a job that is 9-5 weekdays but im happy to start earlier and finish later. I can do the odd night and the odd weekend night but i have a full life myself and as with most older people enjoy the odd holiday. So Im very flexble, I have no other commitments or dependants. If an overnight is required i would happily consider that.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

To be discussed , im open to different payments for different positions and requirements. If transport is needed there are obvious costs for that too.
