Lea
Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
***earliest start - January 2027.
I’m a warm, caring and creative nanny, and I put a lot of heart into working with children.
For me, it’s important that children feel happy, safe, loved and respected, while also having plenty of space to be themselves.
I’m naturally quite laid-back, calm and affectionate, but I also value good communication, kindness and mutual respect. I love creating a positive atmosphere where children can feel comfortable and where we can laugh and play to make the everyday routines feel more fun.
Music and creativity are a big part of who I am. I’m also professional musician and singing teacher, so I’m always happy to offer singing, junior musicianship/piano lessons, storytelling, creative writing, arts and crafts, dancing and other creative activities as part of my time with the children if the family would enjoy that.
I’m highly educated, well-travelled and have spent many years living in London (originally from Croatia, but I hold UK citizenship).
My Experience
I’ve been working with children in different roles since I was a teenager, starting with babysitting and childcare for families.
I then spent around five years working as a children’s entertainer at a birthday party venue, which gave me lots of experience with children of different ages and made me very confident at creating games and activities as well as keeping groups of children engaged and happy.
Over the years I have also worked as an au pair and nanny, including a long-term nanny role.
Overall, I have many years of experience working with children in both childcare and creative/educational settings, and I’m comfortable combining everyday nanny responsibilities with play, learning and creativity.
My Qualifications
I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music, and alongside my nannying experience I have worked professionally as a singing teacher and as a Junior Musicianship teacher with children.
I have completed First Aid training several times in the past and I am currently in the process of renewing my Paediatric First Aid qualification, as well as renewing my DBS check.
My Availability
I’m taking my time to find a family that feels like the right fit. Ideally, I’m looking for around 25-30 hours per week over four days, preferably with either Monday or Friday off, although I’m happy to be flexible for the right family. I’m mainly looking for a weekday role and would ideally like to keep my weekends free.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
My rates start from £20 per hour net.
This reflects my 15 years of experience working with children across nannying, babysitting, children’s entertainment and music education, as well as my professional and academic background.
I’m always happy to discuss the final rate depending on the hours, number and ages of children, responsibilities involved and the overall role.
