About Me
I am a current student at the University of Bath pursuing a BSc in Social Sciences. Outside of education, I love playing netball and staying active. Participating in team sports has reinforced my collaboration skills, which fuels my passion for working with children and creating a fun, safe environment. I am confident caring for both individuals and groups of children across a wide age range where I consistently ensure my care meets each child's individual needs. I am flexible across a wide range of hours and happy to babysit on a one off or a recurring basis.
My Experience
From a young age, I have cared for my younger relatives which developed my love of working with and supporting children, realising my interest I have consistently babysat for children in my local area building strong relationships with families. Continuing to find my passion, I pursued a Job as a swim coach where I assisted children of many age groups to improve their swimming abilities; ensuring lessons were always engaging and all children’s needs were attended. I found absolute Joy in seeing the children’s abilities and confidence flourish. Aside from this, I have volunteered at my local primary school, supporting maths and english. As well as supporting a girl guides group for children with special needs. These have been valuable experiences in teaching me patience and developing my understanding of how to best meet children’s individual needs, knowledge which I am constantly eager to build upon.
My Qualifications
Academically, I am always trying to build my education. I have received my GCSEs, A-levels, and an EPQ. I am now pursuing my degree and hope to keep studying beyond this. These qualifications mean I am confident across a broad range of subjects, directly helping me to support children pastorally and academically. Personally, outside of education, I have completed my silver DofE, LAMDA speaking exams, and participated in many courses rooted in my academic passion eg a slaughter and may law insight qualification. These have all been valuable experiences which I carry through life to assist my teamwork, confidence and conflict resolution. In direct relation to childcare, I have certification in swim coaching and have completed my safeguarding training. These are qualifications i’m always trying to develop through enriching my experiences of working with children.
My Availability
My availability is as follows -
Mondays: 9am - 2pm and 6pm onwards
Tuesdays: 5pm onwards
Wednesdays: 12pm onwards
Thursdays: flexible all day
Fridays: 9am- 12pm and 6pm onwards
Weekends: flexible at all times each day

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
