I’m a single father living in Alveston, South Gloucestershire, with two sons aged 11 and 13.
I work full-time as a train driver for Great Western Railway at Bristol Parkway. My job involves working shifts, so I’m looking for a reliable, trustworthy and caring person who can provide childcare around my working hours.
My boys attend school in Bristol and are both active, independent and involved in sports. I’m looking for someone who can become a consistent and dependable part of our childcare arrangements.
My Requirements
Hi, I’m looking for some childcare support for my two boys, aged 11 and 13.
My needs are quite bespoke at the moment, as I work a rotating shift pattern of two weeks of early shifts followed by two weeks of late shifts.
A good starting point would be two school drop-offs and two school collections per month, just to see how the arrangement works for both of us before potentially increasing the hours.
For school drop-offs, I would need someone to leave my home in Alveston at around 7:20am to take the boys to school in Lockleaze, Bristol.
For collections, I would need someone to collect them from school, bring them back to Alveston, prepare dinner and stay with them until I return from work at around 10pm.
The days would vary depending on my work roster, but I can provide my schedule well in advance.
