My Requirements

Both boys attend a local private prep school a short walk from our home. Our older son is academic, a voracious reader and currently keen on all things Middle-Earth. The younger one is cheeky, full of fun and still likes a cuddle.

During term time, we need around 15 to 20 hours a week, mainly Tuesday to Thursday. The role includes school pick-ups, activities, homework supervision, supper and light housekeeping. We are a vegetarian household. Driving is useful but not essential (we are in central Surbiton, close to bus stops and the station).

During the school holidays, we need around 40 hours a week, including at least three 10-hour days. Although the hours vary, we would average pay across the year to provide a regular monthly income.

We are both busy professionals, so reliability is essential. We are looking for a genuine self-starter who will spot what needs doing, make sensible decisions and keep family life moving. The pattern may suit someone studying or working part-time and can offer consistent, long-term commitment. Above all, we are looking for someone kind, capable and good fun who would like to become a trusted part of our family’s life.
