My Experience

I have over two years of hands-on experience working in childcare, having worked as an Apprentice Practitioner at Sunninghill Play Centre since August 2024.

Throughout my time in a nursery environment, I have gained valuable experience supporting young children's learning, development and everyday needs. I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel happy, comfortable and confident.

My experience has helped me develop skills in supporting daily routines, encouraging independence, planning fun and engaging activities, promoting positive behaviour and adapting my approach to suit children's individual personalities and developmental needs.

Working in a busy nursery has also strengthened my patience, communication, organisation and ability to remain calm in challenging situations. I understand how important it is to build trusting relationships with children and their families and to ensure that every child feels listened to, valued and supported.

I particularly enjoy creative activities, imaginative play and helping children reach new milestones. I find it incredibly rewarding to watch children grow in confidence, learn new skills and develop their own personalities.

Although my professional experience has primarily been in a nursery setting, I am excited to bring the skills and knowledge I have gained into a nannying role, where I can provide more individualised care and build a close, positive relationship with a family.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified **Level 3 Early Years Practitioner**, having successfully completed my apprenticeship and achieved my qualification in May 2026.

Throughout my apprenticeship at Sunninghill Play Centre, I gained both practical experience and theoretical knowledge in child development, safeguarding, health and safety, supporting children's learning, and providing high-quality care in an early years setting.

My training has given me a strong understanding of how children learn, grow and develop, as well as the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that meets each child's individual needs.

I have developed knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), age-appropriate activities, positive behaviour management and the importance of supporting children's emotional, social and physical development.

Alongside my qualification, I have over two years of hands-on experience working directly with children, allowing me to put my knowledge into practice and develop the confidence, patience and skills needed to provide attentive, reliable and compassionate childcare.

I am passionate about continuing to develop my skills and using my qualifications and experience to provide families with a high standard of care.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My nannying rates start from £15 per hour gross, reflecting my Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification and over two years of professional childcare experience.

I aim to provide reliable, nurturing and high-quality childcare at an affordable and competitive rate. My fees may vary depending on the number of children, hours required and additional responsibilities.

I am happy to discuss individual family requirements and agree on a suitable rate for regular, part-time, full-time or occasional childcare arrangements.
