About Me
Hi I'm Olivia. I'm 30 years old and live near Whitefield and Prestwich. I currently work in a mainstream Primary School as a SEN Teaching Assistant in an enhanced provision for children with autism, ADHD and other disabilities.
Furthermore, I have the personal experience of navigating life with autism and ADHD which helps me to understand the needs of others and the importance of providing accessible individualised support. This experience has allowed me to develop a patient and understanding manner built on shared understanding. I also worked in private day nurseries for over two years with children ages 3 months- 4 years . I've also cared for children outside of educational settings through babysitting.
In addition, I have experience helping teach children ages 9 months-4 years old in Sunday School. Furthermore, in my job as a teaching assistant I create resources and adapt teaching techniques to meet children’s individual needs, provided 1-to-1 interventions and implemented Speech and Language Therapy techniques and advice from Occupational Therapists. I'm passionate about helping children to thrive in areas of learning and development in ways that they enjoy so that they can have the opportunity to have fun.
My Experience
I have over 2 years experience working as a SEN teaching assistant supported children ages 4-11 with Autism, ADHD and other disabilities. I have over 2 years experience working in a variety of Early Years settings and non- educational settings supporting children ages 3 months- 4 years.

Paediatric First Aid, University, A Levels and GCSE's

£13 p/h plus tram or bus fare
