I am a caring, patient and reliable person with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. I have gained experience in a variety of childcare settings, including working as an assistant teacher in Switzerland, babysitting and helping with local after-school clubs for shows and activities. These experiences have helped me develop a nurturing and adaptable approach to childcare, understanding the importance of creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to grow.
I enjoy building positive relationships with children, engaging them in creative activities, supporting their learning and helping them develop confidence and independence. I understand that every child is different, and I believe in providing attentive, individual care that meets their needs while encouraging curiosity, creativity and play. I am also mindful of the importance of maintaining routines, being organised and communicating well with parents to ensure consistency and trust.
Having lived in Switzerland, I also speak German, which could be a lovely additional skill to share with a family. Alongside my childcare experience, I have a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, which reflects my creative side and love for creating engaging environments.

My Experience
Childcare Experience – Teaching, Babysitting & After-School Clubs
I have gained childcare experience from a young age, including babysitting for family members for as long as I can remember. I have also worked as an assistant teacher in Switzerland, supporting children aged 4–8 with phonics and early reading skills. In addition, I have helped with local after-school drama clubs, supporting children as they took part in creative activities, rehearsals and performances. These experiences have helped me develop a patient, caring and responsible approach to childcare, as well as the ability to engage children through learning, play and creativity. I enjoy helping children build confidence, express themselves and feel safe and supported in a positive environment.

I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications, but I am DBS checked and trained in first aid.
My Availability
Availability
I am available throughout the week, Monday to Friday, with additional availability at weekends when required. I am also open to overnight stays, depending on the family’s needs. I believe building a trusting relationship with both parents and children is essential, so I would be happy to discuss overnight care as we get to know one another and everyone feels comfortable.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Fees
My rates are flexible and can be discussed with parents depending on the number of children, hours required and the responsibilities involved. I am happy to agree on a fair rate that works for both the family and myself before care begins.
