About Me
I am a passionate, organised and proactive individual who works hard to provide my charges with a wide range of opportunities and experiences. I believe that through working in partnership with parents, listening and valuing a child’s voice and encouraging their natural curiosity, every child can develop to live a full and unique life. I have a wide range of experience working with children, both from my placements whilst studying at Norland and from work outside of my studies. I am a big advocate for allowing children the freedom to explore and be active in their own way and will encourage my charges to learn and develop in the way that they choose. Having spent several of my formative years in the United Arab Emirates, I appreciate the value of travelling with young children and enjoy exploring new places around the globe. I aspire to be a conscientious, dedicated and compassionate nanny who supports families to thrive throughout their children’s early years.
My Experience
October 2025 – Present – Residential nanny for 2 children aged 2 and 10 months (NQN role)
Over my NQN year, I have worked with two young, energetic boys in a sole charge capacity. I have supported the family through a number of transitions including Mum’s return to work following maternity leave, starting a new nursery and various developmental stages and milestones. My partnership with the parents has enabled us to ensure continuity in the boys’ care as well as address concerns and devise strategies to implement as a team, such as navigating Mum working from home part time. My highlight has been the bond I have formed with both children and how individual they are with each child.
Previous to my NQN role, I have worked with a range of families working with children from the age of newborn to 14 years old. During my training at Norland, I had a range of placements in both the Bath area and South West London with families from all different backgrounds as well as school and nursery settings.
