My Requirements

We're looking for a lovely, dependable and organised individual who can provide a combination of housekeeping, general household support and occasional childcare.

The role will primarily focus on helping us keep on top of everyday household responsibilities, while also providing an extra pair of hands with our little boy when needed.

Responsibilities would include:

General housekeeping, cleaning and tidying.

Laundry, changing beds and keeping the home organised.

Grocery shopping, running errands and helping with general household jobs.

Helping with occasional household tasks and day-to-day organisation.

Light childcare during my virtual client meetings, allowing me to focus on work without interruptions.

Playing with, entertaining and caring for our little boy for short periods while I'm working from home.

Being comfortable around our pets and occasionally helping with pet-related tasks.

A little more about the role:

As my husband works shifts, our requirements may vary from week to week. Ideally, we're looking for someone who can offer some flexibility around our family schedule. Although we are looking for around 2 days a week, the days may move forward 1 day each week to fit in with my husband's shift pattern.

I will generally be at home, so this isn't a traditional full-time nanny position. We're really looking for a combination of a housekeeper and mother's help - someone who can take the pressure off household responsibilities and provide a caring, trusted pair of hands when I need to attend meetings.

Experience with babies would be wonderful, and we're particularly keen to find someone kind, trustworthy, independent and happy to take initiative.

Ultimately, we'd love to find someone who becomes a familiar and valued part of our little family's routine!
