About Me
We are a friendly family living in Cambridge with two lovely boys, aged 8 and 6. We are Pakistani having lived in Germany for 20 years before moving to Cambridge in 2025.
Our boys have their own individual personalities, interests and needs. Our younger son, has additional special educational needs (SEN), including differences in communication, attention and sensory processing. He benefits from patience, understanding, a calm approach and support tailored to his individual needs.
We value kindness, reliability and inclusivity, and are looking for someone who will make both boys feel safe, happy and supported. We hope to find a caring person who is comfortable supporting children with additional needs and can build a trusting relationship with our family.
Good communication with parents, respect for each child’s individual needs and a genuine love of working with children are particularly important to us.
My Requirements
The ideal childcare provider will be warm, attentive, flexible and confident in adapting activities and routines to suit both children. Experience with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, sensory differences or developmental delays would be particularly valuable.
We are initially looking for occasional evening babysitting, especially on Saturdays, with the possibility of additional hours by mutual agreement.
