Kelly C
Reliable, caring nanny needed for early mornings and school drop-off
About Me
Hi! I'm a working mum to my lovely four-year-old daughter, Kennedy, who is at the heart of everything I do.
I'm looking for a little extra help with our busy weekday routine, as I commute to London for work. We're hoping to find someone kind, trustworthy and caring who will fit naturally into our family life and become someone we can rely on.
Kennedy is at a lovely age, and it's important to me that she feels happy, safe and comfortable with the person looking after her. I'd love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and will make her mornings and afternoons feel fun and relaxed.
I'm friendly, approachable and value good communication, reliability and mutual trust. I really appreciate someone who takes pride in what they do and treats Kennedy with the same kindness and care they would want for their own family.
We're looking forward to finding the right person to become a familiar, positive presence in Kennedy's life and make our busy weekdays that little bit easier!
My Requirements
Nanny Needed for My 4-Year-Old Daughter – Monday to Thursday
I'm looking for a lovely, reliable and caring nanny to help with the morning and afternoon routine for my four-year-old daughter, Kennedy.
Finding the right person is really important to me. I'd love to find someone warm, patient and nurturing who Kennedy can build a lovely bond with and who can become a trusted part of our little family's routine.
Days, hours and split shifts
Days: Monday to Thursday, including school holidays.
This is a split-shift position, with two separate working periods each day during term time.
Morning shift: 6:00am until 8:30am, when Kennedy is dropped off at school.
Daytime break: You are completely free once Kennedy has been dropped off. There is no requirement to remain at our home or be available during this time.
Afternoon shift: Return in time to collect Kennedy at 4:15pm, then care for her until I arrive home from work by 6:00pm.
Kennedy's school is approximately a 10-minute drive from our home and starts at 8:30am.
Morning responsibilities
I leave for work at 6am, and Kennedy usually wakes at 7am, so there will be a little time before she gets up.
Once she's awake, I'd need you to:
Help her get dressed and ready for school.
Prepare and give her breakfast.
Do her hair and brush her teeth.
Make sure she has everything she needs for the school day.
Drive her safely to school in time for her 8:30am start.
Afternoon responsibilities
Collect Kennedy from school at 4:15pm.
Drive her home safely.
Prepare and give her dinner.
Spend time playing with her and keeping her happy, safe and entertained.
Look after her until I arrive home, no later than 6pm.
During school holidays: I will need childcare during the daytime rather than the usual school drop-off and pickup routine. The specific hours can be discussed and agreed in advance.
Driving requirements
A full, valid driving licence and confidence driving are essential, as you'll need to take Kennedy to and from school. Ideally, you will have your own reliable car with appropriate insurance for transporting a child.
A little about you
I'm hoping to find someone who is:
Warm, kind and genuinely caring towards children.
Patient, nurturing and positive.
Reliable, punctual and organised.
Experienced in caring for young children.
Someone who will help Kennedy feel safe, secure and happy.
As I commute to London for work, reliability is particularly important to me. I need to know that Kennedy is in safe hands so I can leave for work feeling reassured.
Interested
If you think you might be a good fit for us, I'd love to hear from you! Please tell me a little about yourself, your childcare experience, your driving arrangements and your availability.
I'm really hoping to find someone special who can become a familiar, trusted face in Kennedy's life and help make our busy weekdays run smoothly.
