My Requirements

We are a friendly family in Hampstead looking for a warm and reliable nanny to help care for our three school-aged children (a 7-year-old girl and twin 5-year-old boys).

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is open to a flexible schedule that we can plan together. We are happy to offer a guaranteed full-time salary (40+ hours per week), even though the actual hours needed will vary from week to week.

Our ideal arrangement:

One parent travels for work approximately two weeks each month, so our childcare needs alternate:

During travel weeks (approximately 2 weeks/month): We would need help with mornings (7–10 am, including school drop-off) and afternoons/evenings (4–8 pm, including school pickup). The children attend an after-school programme until 6 pm, so there is some flexibility around pickup times.

During non-travel weeks: We would primarily need afternoon/evening help (4–8 pm), likely only four days per week.

Occasional weekends: Some flexibility to help on weekends, particularly when one parent is travelling, would be greatly appreciated. These would be arranged in advance.

Light household help: We'd welcome some help with children's laundry, tidying, simple meal preparation and other child-related household tasks.

We can generally agree on the schedule at least four weeks in advance, and we're keen to find an arrangement that works well for both the nanny and our family and we want to make sure our nanny has a predictable schedule and a good work-life balance.

A little about us:
We're an international family with three energetic, curious children. Our daughter has recently started learning Spanish and playing piano and is very excited about it, so Spanish-speaking or even basic piano skills would be a wonderful bonus, but is absolutely not a requirement.

We're ideally looking for someone who can become a trusted, long-term part of our family.
