About Me
I’m currently a medical student at the University of Exeter and am looking to offer ad hoc babysitting and childcare support to local families, with the possibility of regular care depending on availability.
I’m a friendly, approachable and reliable person who genuinely enjoys helping others and supporting families. I’m caring, patient and understanding, and I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their little ones in someone else’s care. I always aim to create a safe, happy and reassuring environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
I’m happy to support families looking for general childcare or those who need someone with experience caring for children with additional needs and complex medical conditions.
My Experience
I have a year’s experience working as a Personal Care Assistant for a medically complex child with CDKL5 deficiency disorder, working within the family home and supporting their individual care needs.
Alongside my experience in care, I also have experience tutoring younger students and coaching gymnastics. These roles have helped me develop strong communication skills and taught me the importance of patience, encouragement and adapting to each child’s individual needs. I enjoy helping children learn new skills and reach their potential while creating a fun, positive and supportive environment. I love working with children of different ages and personalities and helping them feel comfortable, confident and encouraged.

Enhanced DBS check
PEG feeding training
Adult and paediatric first aid
Epilepsy training
Basic life support training
My Availability
As a medical student at the University of Exeter, my availability varies around my university timetable. I’m generally available for ad hoc babysitting and childcare during evenings and weekends, with some flexibility depending on my schedule. I’m happy to discuss individual dates and ongoing arrangements to see what works best for your family!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My rates are flexible and depend on each family’s individual needs, including the child’s age, level of care required and the responsibilities involved. I understand that every family and situation is different, so I’m happy to discuss fees and agree on a rate that works for everyone. Please feel free to message me to discuss your requirements
