Summer Nanny Wanted – Live-In or Live-Out | Farnham, Surrey | June–September 2027

We’re a friendly family looking for a lovely, reliable and experienced nanny to help care for our two young boys over the summer of 2027.

The role

* Dates: Approximately 12–14 weeks between June and September 2027
* Days: Ideally 3–4 days per week, Monday–Thursday
* Hours: 8am–5:30pm
* Location: Around 10 minutes outside Farnham town centre
* Accommodation: Live-in or live-out options available

We’re very happy to consider someone looking for a temporary summer position, whether live-in or live-out.

A little about our home

We live in a lovely family home surrounded by countryside, just a couple of minutes from a beautiful nature reserve, with Alice Holt Forest and Frensham Ponds nearby.

For a live-in nanny, we can offer a private, self-contained annexe with its own entrance, spacious bedroom overlooking the garden, bathroom and small kitchen. You’ll have your own space to relax and enjoy your time off.

Fridays, evenings and weekends would be entirely your own, although occasional evening babysitting (perhaps once a week) could be helpful by mutual agreement.

About the children and the role

Our two boys will be approximately 4 years old and 1 year old during the placement.

We’re looking for someone warm, energetic and confident caring for young children, who enjoys getting outdoors, planning activities and making the most of the summer.

Typical responsibilities would include:

* Preparing and serving the children’s breakfast, lunch and tea
* Organising games, creative activities and garden play
* Taking the children on local outings, walks and adventures
* Helping with the children’s daily routines and keeping their areas tidy
* Preschool drop-offs and collections (approximately 15 minutes away) Monday–Thursday until the summer holidays begin
* Occasionally incorporating a walk with our very small family dog into an outing with the children

My husband and I work a mixture of days from home and in offices further afield, so one of us will usually be around, although you’ll have responsibility for the children during your working hours.

What we’re looking for

As we’re in a countryside location, a confident driver is essential, ideally with their own car.

We’re looking for someone kind, trustworthy, proactive and experienced with both babies and preschool-aged children. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and creating fun, happy days for them.

We also have a very small dog, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and whether the position is live-in or live-out.
