About Me

My name is Lola. I am 23 and currently live in Devon, England.

Creativity and play have been at the centre of my universe from a young age. I deeply value the importance of growing up in a safe environment where children feel listened to and comfortable to be themselves. I am a very hard worker and love to be a helpful hand when it comes to anything, ranging from household tasks to play and looking after young humans. I was cared for by au pairs when I was younger and this has inspired me to be the same presence for other families. I hold the belief that you never forget your carers when they have been kind and patient with you, whilst being a responsible and safe presence. I am a very creative and practical person. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism and Creative Writing. I have experience working in a kindergarten for half a year, with small children aged between two and seven. This opened me to the world of childcare. I really enjoy being around and caring for young children, I find it to be nourishing and very rewarding. I deeply value spending time getting to know children and being a person for them to come to when they need help.

I am an active person and love to be outside, any chance I get I will be exploring the natural world. I especially love wild swimming and walking. I deeply cherish the importance of being outside and learning from the natural world.
I spend much of my time painting and writing.
I value the importance of having a tidy and clean living space. I enjoy cleaning and keeping a household tidy so that the day to day can run smoothly.
