About Me
Hi! I'm a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic student currently studying at the University of St Andrews. I'm naturally quite caring and love spending time with children, whether that's playing games, getting creative with arts and crafts, helping with homework or winding down with a film.
I also have an 8-month-old little brother, so I love being around little ones and understand how important it is to make them feel safe, happy and comfortable. I'm responsible and patient, but also enjoy being playful and making sure the children I look after have fun!
I'm currently settled into university and have some flexibility around my timetable, so I'd love to help out local families with regular babysitting, evenings or occasional childcare. I'm always happy to have a chat beforehand to answer any questions and make sure I'm the right fit for your family.
My Experience
I have over four years of childcare experience, including babysitting children aged 2 months to 14 years, working in holiday clubs with children aged 2–12 and working as a wraparound childcare supervisor.
Through these roles, I've gained experience caring for children of different ages, keeping them entertained, supporting their development and helping to create a safe and positive environment. I've also gained valuable safeguarding experience through my childcare work.
Alongside this, I've worked as a swimming assistant with children aged 3–12. I have lifeguard and AED training, which I renewed in February 2026, as well as first aid training.
These experiences have helped me become a confident, adaptable and responsible childcare provider, and I'm comfortable adjusting to different children's personalities, routines and needs.

My Availability
I'm currently studying at the University of St Andrews and have a fairly flexible timetable, so I'm available for babysitting around my university commitments. I'm happy to help with evening babysitting, occasional weekends and ad hoc childcare, and I'd also be interested in regular arrangements where my timetable allows. I'm happy to discuss dates and times in advance to find something that works for both of us!
