Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We're a family of four living in Parsons Green, Fulham SW6. Our two children, a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 5, go to a local primary school a short walk from Parsons Green tube station. The children are half English, half French, so a French speaker is a plus (not essential).
My Requirements
We're looking for a reliable nanny/au pair, ideally starting Wednesday 4 November, in Parsons Green, Fulham.
Regular hours: Monday-Friday, school pickup at 3.30pm until 6pm (12.5 hours per week). Depending on the rate and our needs, some days may extend to 8pm, ad hoc or a couple of times a week (16.5 hours if two days run longer). Extra hours aren't guaranteed.
Duties:
• School pickups and local football drop-offs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Taking the children to Jesse's House, a local family club we'll provide access to, when there are no activities.
• At least half an hour of homework daily, with one hour per child on Thursdays or Fridays.
• Bringing them home; on longer days, helping with food, showers and bedtime preparation.
Additional flexibility: ad hoc babysitting on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings, up to midnight, by agreement. Occasional morning school-run help would be a bonus, not a requirement.
Experience with primary-school children required. References and a DBS check will be requested. Please reply with your availability, relevant experience, hourly rate and usual working arrangement. We prefer a genuinely self-employed arrangement but can consider direct employment. Total budget, including any employer costs, is up to £25/hour.
